The US first openly gay news anchor, Thomas Roberts is going to host the DailyMailTV show this fall. This is a syndicated show airing on weekdays across the country. Thomas Roberts is also the host of a Facebook Live Show named Gay Good News.
Roberts became the show’s host this summer in order to encourage himself and stay connected with people during these difficult times.
In his show, he highlights positive events happening in the LGBTQ community and discusses how COVID-19 is affecting them. While the pandemic is hard to deal with for everyone, LGBTQ people face even more challenges.
Due to his new job as the host of the DailyMailTV show, Thomas Roberts needs to move to NYC. He currently lives in Atlanta. Roberts revealed that the DailyMailTV show is a co-production between Los Angeles Stage 29 Productions and London’s The Daily Mail.
In 2006, Thomas Roberts came out as gay while giving a speech at the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association Convention, which is held every year.
Roberts said that 2020 hasn’t been the happiest year, and he hopes the DailyMailTV show will make it a bit better. Despite this new job, Roberts will keep hosting Gay Good News.
